"One on One" Coaching provides an invaluable space for personal development. For example, managers are frequently presented with employees struggling with low confidence, not meeting their targets and conflicts, and giving multiple reasons. The traditional approach would be to send them to a training workshop and hope this addresses the issue. In the short-term, the employee learns new strategies, but in the long run, if those changes are not installed properly as a new belief, chances are they will go back to their old patterns because the new change needs to be supported by a change in their internal thought processes. This is often where coaching is most effective
